So I have been told It’s never too early to start reading books to your baby, it is even suggested to start from birth.

Book

I don’t know who actually has time to read books to a newborn baby without either one falling asleep but anyways!

The sticker is more fun

I read to my boy most nights after his before bed feed. Most of the time he tries to eat the book but, lately he has done less eating and more looking.

Reading

My eldest son’s favourite book when he was about two was, Time for Bed P.B. Bear.

What are your favourite books to read to your child, and what is their favourite?

I love almost all picture books! Anything by Mem Fox, but Where is the Green Sheep might appeal to your baby. I’m so glad you’re reading to your kids.

Just dropped by after reading your introduction at AMB. Loving the photographs!

Thank you for commenting 🙂 I love them too, I love to scour the second hand shops for new ones to bring home, I’m a sucker for beautiful illustrations.

I’m a book reviewer and so lucky to get picture books in the mail. But I always get a thrill to open a new one. And even though good writing is so important to me, I am a sucker for wonderful art work too. Have you seen Jeannie Baker’s latest, Mirror? All from collage, so breath-takingly beautiful.
