After our quick visit to Hastings, we kept driving to Philip Island to find the holiday house that I booked via airbnb in Cowes. The house had 3 bedrooms, two toilets and heaps of space, it had everything we needed and more, it was so relaxing. As we drove over the bridge at Philip Island we noticed heaps of custom old cars, we didn’t know but there was an awesome car show on the same weekend we arrive….
Day 1: Relaxing
Day 2: Kustom Nats
At the race track we found hundreds of custom cars, it was so great checking them all out. It was fun watching them drive round the track (not that quickly so they didn’t bottom out). There were also stalls with vintage style dresses etc which were really nice but I refrained! I bought a cute tea towel.
After checking out the cars we drove toward Pyramid Rock and checked out the view.
The main street of Cowes featured a cafe and collectable shop that I wanted to check out. We had brunch here and then wandered the shop which had some really cool stuff
After brunch we headed to A Maze N Things
We had a game of mini golf, walked the maze which was tricky and frustrating for some, but it was an enjoyable afternoon, it filled in a few hours for the kids.
Then dinner by the waters edge where we saw some more cars and the kids had a play at the park.
