Launceston Wedding Photographer – Craig & Eileen, City Park Wedding

My last wedding for the season was a wet one.  From the moment I arrived at my friend Eileen’s house, it rained, but the rain didn’t dampen the mood.

The wedding ceremony was located in the City Park in Launceston, with the reception following at the Evandale Memorial Hall.  Eileen beautifully themed and decorated her wedding, and everything looked fantastic.   Luckily the City Park has the rotunda which we all fit in for the ceremony, we then moved on to Evandale for some photos of the bridal party and bride and groom.

It was a lovely day, thank you for asking me to be a part of your day!

Wedding Photographer – Matt & Esther, Cataract Gorge Launceston, Tasmania

On the first day of Autumn this year, I had the privilege of shooting the wedding of some friends of mine, Matt & Esther.  I have known Matt my whole life, our parents used to be neighbours before Matt was even born.

Matt & Esther had an evening wedding at the beautiful Cataract Gorge in Launceston, with a reception to follow at the Gorge Restaurant.  There is something really special about photographing a wedding full of your friends.

Here is just a small selection from their day.

Caleb & Grace – Launceston Wedding Photography

A couple of weekends ago on 10.11.12  two lovely people were married. If you have followed my earlier posts you may know that I have known Grace her whole life, so it was such a privilege to take her wedding photos.

It was a beautiful sunny day and the umbrellas I bought were not needed at all. I was worried I would not make it to the ceremony at one point as there were hundreds of motor bikes driving down the main road that separated me from the church, and the traffic lights did not change for 10 minutes or more to let them through. Thankfully I did a bit of a drive around and scooted through a Coles carpark to get to the ceremony.

Thankfully I also had Toni from Toni M Photography helping me out on the day so she was already there snapping away.

We headed down near Seaport for the bridal portraits and the reception was held at the University at Newnham. It was a beautiful day. Congratulations to you both.
