Project Life – A new way to scrapbook

Some of you may have heard of Project Life before, but I have only known about it for about the last year.   Basically, Project Life is a much simpler way of scrapbooking, just slide your photos into pages (like a photo album) but also journal on specially made cards.  I had dismally failed at keeping up with any kind of scrapbooking after my second child came along.  I saw Pink Ronnie instagramming one of her page layouts and I was instantly in love.  Last birthday I ordered a Project Life mini album and core kit fully intending to get started but a year later I still hadn’t started.  I was so behind in printing my photos out, I had none to start with and the mini album wasn’t quite what I needed for the amount of photos I needed to print.

Finally this year I came across Harvey Norman selling their own version of the project life albums and pages, two for the price of one, and I grabbed the opportunity to get 4 and also asked for Spotlight gift vouchers for my birthday so that I could purchase some more core kits and pages. I printed out a bunch of photos (from 2012) and got started!

I also scoured the net for free project life cards to print…you can find my list on pinterest

I created my own filler cards for my daughters pages with some existing scrapbooking paper and stickers.

I haven’t done all the journaling yet but I will get there!  Now I need to print 2013!
