Bring your colouring to life with Crayola Colour Alive

This post is brought to you by Nuffnang and Crayola

Colouring just got real!  My two youngest children aged 5 and 10 had fun with the new range of Crayola Color Alive books.  Now packaged with crayons, they coloured to their hearts content!

The crayons included contain one special crayon that lights up with special effects once scanned with the app.  Each pack contains a different special effect depending on the character pack you choose.  We got to test out the comic symbols for Marvel Avengers, fire for Mythical Creatures, ice sparkles for Disney Frozen and Pixie Dust for Enchanted Fairies.

There are 7 crayons included but you can use any Crayola crayons that you may already have to do your drawings.

After we downloaded the app to our iPad, we had fun bringing this little dragon to life.  It was really impressive the way the app caught the colours from the drawing!

You can make him BIG or small, breath fire and move around.  Each character does a different thing when you touch it, you can also save the character to the app so you can play with it later without scanning the page again.

Color Alive packs are only $7.99 and have a range to suit every little person’s taste.  Each book has 16 pages of fun.

My daughter and i even made a video tutorial, now I may be a photographer, but being a videographer is a whole different ball game!

If you want to check out the full range of Crayola products you can do that here at www.crayola.com.au

Bunchems – Bunches of Fun!

Brought to you by Nuffnang and Bunchems

These school holidays we have spent a few days at home, which has resulted in kids who just want to play on devices and me confiscating them!  So when a package arrived in the post that contained a new toy, my two youngest kids ages 5 and 10 couldn’t wait to get their hands on the box.

Introducing Bunchems!

Bunchems are funny little plastic balls that stick together, just by squishing them! No need for glue or sticky tape here (I need shares in those companies) Also no hard corners to tread on in the dark, hooray!

My daughter being the crafty girl she is quickly got the hang of them and began creating.  At first she began following the instructions which resulted in some seriously cute creations.

My little fella loved all the accessories that came in the pack and had a go at making a snake.

Isn’t he so cute! He is definitely my favourite!

After a while they began to come up with their own creations, which is pretty much endless!

Isn’t the sun adorable?!

After a while even the big kid joined in the fun….

As we were packing up the Bunchems from the kitchen table my youngest made a hat….How angelic!

Needless to say the Bunchems didn’t stay in the box very long and were brought out again the next day for some more creative fun!  What would you create with a bunch of Bunchems?
