Day 6 & 7 Geelong

After Scienceworks we headed to Geelong to visit and stay with some friends we hadn’t seen for a while, who had a daughter that we had only met once when she was about 5 months old.

She sure had grown!

Miss A

Miss A had a gorgeous little kitten called Zepher, which she practically loved to death, how the kitten is still alive I am not sure. She picks it up by the neck and rolls all over it!!

Miss A also loves shoes…

Her odd shoes

We didn’t feel like going far once we got to Geelong, we went to the Cats store so hubby could buy some merchandise, and quickly caught up with a few more friends we have in Geelong.

Of course a ride on the carousel was on the itinerary

Having a ride

And one last stop to visit an ex-tasmanian friend who just had a new addition to the family… Baby B

Then it was off to the boat for the trip home. This time I took some Kwells!

Day 4 & 5 Shopping and Scienceworks

>Day 4 of the holiday involved shopping, lots of shopping, so I didn’t get out the camera.

We said goodbye to this little man who we stayed with, such a cutie

T and J

and headed toward Scienceworks museum for the Star Wars exhibition.

My son has recently become obsessed with Star Wars so he was VERY excited to get there.

Star Wars Exhibition at Scienceworks

Millenium Falcon

The exhibition was great, J was very excited to shake hands with a real stormtrooper and got to build some hovercrafts from Lego.

We moved on to the rest of the museum for a look

and found Voltron, Defender of the Universe. Loved this show when I was a kid and my brother still has his lions somewhere!

Miss P thought it was great too.

Light Sabre

Unfortunately we didn’t get time to finish it all as it shut at 4pm.

We hopped back into the car and headed to Geelong.

Day 3 – Migrane and the Zoo

>…a Migrane!!

Day 3 I woke up and then lay straight back down again! We were meant to be packing up, checking out of the Hotel and heading to the zoo. I could barely move the pain was that bad. I couldn’t eat breakfast and I tried to pack what I could.
There was nothing for me to do but keep going.
My husband packed up the car and we piled in. I still had to navigate our way to the Zoo which wasn’t far but still managed to take a wrong turn.

We got to the zoo and I was sooo sick, but I plodded on trying to stay cheerie for the kids sake. Didn’t take too many photos as it just hurt to much.

On the Croc

The King

Kiss a Pig

We left the zoo and headed to Croyden where we met up with and stayed with some friends of ours. Thankfully by the end of the day the migrane had subsided.
