Camera Bags – Something stylish please?

So I have been wanting a new camera bag, I currently have a black backpack, which is great for carrying everything, but sometimes I just want to take my camera and one lens or the flash, and they both don’t fit in the small carry bag I have just for my camera, and it would not fit at all if I attached a battery pack.

So I have been scouring the internet for camera bags.  There are some very stylish, pretty, feminine bags out there.

I have found Epiphanie their lovely bag Lola caught my eye. So lovely and red.

I also love the look and idea of the Shootsac bags

Their latest bag looks great, although a little less hand bag style.

I also found another red bag from Kelly Moore

Can you tell I like red? Unfortunately for me, these bags are quite expensive, so unless some kindly family member gets me one for my birthday (hint, hint) I will have to save up my money for one of these.

I also like the idea of this camera bag insert that could fit into an existing bag

How cute is this one?

$89 USD – more my price!

If you know of any other camera bags sellers, let me know!

Rocking Horse

This is me:

And this is my horse.

This is my big boy (when he was little)…

And this is my girl..

A mistake I liked

This horse has been in my family since I was a baby, I don’t know where my parents got it from but I do know my dad who was a panel beater at the time spray painted it this lovely bright red.

When my brother (who was known for falling asleep on it) and I grew out of it, it was passed onto friends we knew, who then passed it onto friends. When they no longer needed it and were selling their things to move away, I offered to buy it back, all she wanted was $10.

And I was so happy I had the horse back for my kids.  So in recent times the horse went from being inside, to then being in the cubby house when we moved house, and had not made it back inside, until my little boy came along and I dragged it back inside again.

Poor horse was a bit dirty and in need of a little tlc, but I cleaned him up and here he is all shiny again.  I could get it repainted but I like the fact that it still looks the same, even if the paint is chipping off (and probably not good to chew on).

I haven’t got a picture of my youngest on it yet as he isn’t quite old enough to hold on without help but he loves it!

I hope my kids want to pass it on to their children one day.  Do you have any family heirlooms? Or do you have any that you want to pass on to your children?
