Eerin & Alex – Mini Session Winners

As usual I’m waaaay behind on my blogging and now playing catch up!  Eerin and Alex were my competition winners and we headed to Hollybank for a session in the trees.

It was so lovely to spend the afternoon with these two, I wish you all the best for your wedding next year 🙂

Engagement Session – Hollybank Forest, Launceston

I have been wanting to blog this engagement session for weeks now, have finally found some time to sit down and blog!

I received an email enquiry from the lovely Bianca about and engagement/couple session and that she wanted to go to her favourite spot near Launceston, Hollybank Forest. It just so happens to be one of my favourite places to photograph too, see previous post here.

The day arrived and having had such a bad winter I was skeptical about what the weather would do, but thankfully it held out and we were able to capture some great images for Bianca and fiancé Rob.

It was a pleasure photographing these two lovely people, and I couldn’t stop saying how sweet they looked together (hope that wasn’t annoying).  Don’t you all agree?

Just had to pop this one in….the massive big oak tree, that I didn’t even know was in Hollybank and is apparently pretty popular for weddings..

Congratulations Bianca and Rob on your engagement and have fun planning your wedding.

Spring blossom photo shoot – Evandale, Tasmania

On Saturday my daughter and I headed to the park to take some photos under the blossom trees. We couldn’t find any complete shade that was not dappled by the sun, so we tried our best to take some photos in the sun.  Our local park also backs onto a cemetary, so don’t be freaked out by the thought I took her to a grave yard for a photo shoot!!

Previously my daughter is not usually a willing subject, but the pretty dress, new stick on ear rings and a pretend picnic was enough to turn her into a great model!

I wanted to take some photos of her without her glasses on, she has such lovely eyes and they get hidden behind the frames.

I’m thinking I’d like to organise some mini sessions in our local area soon, it is such a beautiful time of year. Bring on the warm weather!
